The SBC Demo Begins Tomorrow!

In Uncategorized on August 22, 2010 at 8:48 PM

I just wanted to do a quick update about the demo. Tomorrow we are meeting at Collins for the monday night ride with specialized. The ride will leave at a little after 6 so I have been asking people to show up at 5:30 if they would like to ride a new Specialized on the ride. A number of people have already showed interest in the bikes for tomorrow night. I have a few reserved and thought I would post a list of what is left for tomorrow night. Here is what is left:

S-Works Roubaix 54

Roubaix Pro 58

Tarmac Pro 54

S-Works Tarmac 58

S-Works Tarmac 54

Crux Comp 54

Crux Pro Carbon 56

Please contact Eric at hutchseugene@gmail.com if you would like to ride one of these bikes monday night. If you don’t see the size or bike listed that you would like to ride, no worries, we will have more sizes and bikes for tuesday. We will also have the mountain bikes on tuesday. On tuesday you will  have the opportunity to ride more bikes on shorter loops and get a good comparison between them. Let me know what you are interested in and I will do my best to get you on one of these ripping bikes!

The big S is coming to town.

Specialized is coming to town and they are bringing the best of the best! T There will be both mountain and road bikes to take out on real rides on the dirt and pavement. Have you ever wondered what a 21.5 lb full suspension bike rides like? Come out this June and find out!

They are going to be in town for two days, August 23rd and 24th. On the 23rd we will be meeting at Collins at 6 to join the weekly ride. This will be a road only day. There are a limited number of bikes, so if you are interested in taking one on the ride please contact Eric for availability, these will go quick!

For the 24th Specialized will be setup at the Calvary fellowship church from 4-8. The church is located at the corner of fox hollow and Amazon. From here you can take mountain bikes on the ridgeline trail and road bikes up fox hollow. If you want to know how an Epic compares to an Endruo or a Roubaix to a Tarmac come out and join us! Hammer nutrition will be providing us with free gels, hammer bars and heed for food during the ride.

It’s recommend that you come in your normal riding clothes and bring your current bike. Patrick from Specialized will be setting up the bikes with your pedals and measurements to make sure the ride is dialed in.

This event should be a ton of fun. It will give anyone looking to really experience a mountain or road bike on a longer ride a great opportunity to do so. The event is open to anyone and everyone. If you know someone who is thinking about getting into cycling, this will surly get them hooked! Bring your friends and family out for a great night of riding some of the sweetest bikes. Come join us!
